About the Service

A Bid Readiness Report is a structured PDF that reviews your public bid package for submission compliance issues, insurance and bonding gaps, prevailing wage requirements, MBE/WBE forms, and post-award contract risks. Every finding includes the source document name, page number, and a plain-English action step so your team knows exactly what to fix and who should handle it.

BidFastApp.com is built for specialty contractors and general contractors who bid public works projects: school districts, cities, counties, housing authorities, state transportation departments, utility districts, and other government owners. If you submit competitive bids to public agencies, this service is designed for you.

Yes. We review public bid packages from any state. Prevailing wage rules, certified payroll requirements, MBE/WBE form requirements, and agency-specific bid procedures vary significantly by state, and our reviewers are familiar with those differences. We flag state-specific requirements when they appear in the documents.

No. BidFastApp.com is a document review service, not a law firm. We identify requirements, risks, missing items, and recommended action steps from the bid documents you upload. We do not provide legal interpretation, contract negotiation advice, or legal representation. For legal questions about a specific contract or bid dispute, consult a licensed attorney.

Our reviewers have hands-on experience in public works bidding, prevailing wage compliance, insurance requirements, and agency-specific bid procedures. We are not attorneys, licensed engineers, insurance brokers, or bonding agents. We do not claim to replace any of those professionals. We review documents and identify what the bid package requires.

We review bid packages for public works construction projects including building renovations, roofing, HVAC and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sitework, concrete, painting, fire protection, and other specialty trades. We cover invitations to bid (ITB), requests for proposals (RFP), and requests for qualifications (RFQ) issued by public agencies.

What We Review

The Full Bid Readiness Review covers four main areas: (1) Bid submission and forms, including bid form completeness, addenda acknowledgment, required signatures, bid security, and delivery instructions. (2) Insurance and bonding requirements, including bid bond, performance bond, payment bond, insurance limits, endorsements, and COI comparison. (3) Wage and labor compliance, including Davis-Bacon, state prevailing wage, certified payroll, apprenticeship requirements, and MBE/WBE/DBE participation. (4) Post-award risks and contract traps, including liquidated damages, retainage, warranty obligations, closeout requirements, and payment conditions.

Upload the complete bid package if possible: instructions to bidders, bid form, all addenda, general conditions, supplementary conditions, insurance exhibit, bonding requirements, prevailing wage schedule, labor compliance requirements, MBE/WBE requirements, and any owner-provided forms. If you want insurance reviewed, also upload your current Certificate of Insurance. We review what is uploaded and note any documents that appear to be missing.

Yes. If you upload your COI, we compare it against the insurance requirements stated in the bid documents and flag possible gaps. The most common issues are umbrella or excess liability limits that fall below the project requirement, missing additional insured endorsements, missing waiver of subrogation language, and missing primary and noncontributory wording. We do not advise on what coverage to purchase or which broker to use. We identify the gaps so you can send them to your broker.

Yes. We identify whether participation goals are stated, what percentage is required, which forms are required (utilization form, good-faith effort form, subcontractor participation form), and when those forms are due relative to bid submission. We flag whether goals appear aspirational or mandatory and whether a good-faith effort documentation process is described. We do not identify or solicit certified subcontractors for you.

No. We do not have visibility into market pricing, competitor bids, or agency award history. Our review is limited to compliance: whether the bid package appears complete and whether you have the required forms, bonds, insurance, and documentation. We do not provide estimating, pricing, or bid strategy.

Upload the new addendum to your order through your dashboard. If review has not yet started, we incorporate it into the full review. If review has started, contact us at support@bidfastapp.com and we will advise on the best path based on timeline and what the addendum contains.

Turnaround and Delivery

The Basic Bid Scan and Full Bid Readiness Review are delivered within 48 to 72 hours from the time your documents are complete in the system, respectively. The Rush Review is delivered within 24 hours. Rush orders placed before noon ET on a business day are typically delivered the same business day. These are targets, not guarantees, and may vary based on document volume and order queue.

Choose the Rush Review. We prioritize the items most likely to affect submission first: bid forms, addenda acknowledgment, bid security, required signatures, mandatory attachments, delivery instructions, and any obvious insurance or wage red flags. Orders placed before noon ET are typically reviewed the same business day.

Turnaround time starts when your documents are complete in the system, not when you place the order. If you place an order but upload documents the next day, the turnaround period begins at upload completion. Upload your documents as soon as possible after ordering.

Your Bid Readiness Report is delivered as a PDF to your dashboard. You will receive an email notification when the report is available. You can download the PDF directly from the order page in your account.

Contact us at support@bidfastapp.com with your order number. We will check on the status and respond promptly. If your bid deadline is imminent, note that in your message and we will prioritize the response.

Pricing and Payment

We offer three flat-fee plans. The Basic Bid Scan is $199 and covers bid form completeness, addenda, bid security, required signatures, submission deadlines, and critical rejection risks. The Full Bid Readiness Review is $499 and adds insurance review, bonding review, prevailing wage review, MBE/WBE review, post-award risk summary, and a priority action list with page references. The Rush Review is $999 and delivers everything in the Full Review within 24 hours, with priority queue placement and a phone call if critical issues are found.

We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our payment processor. Payment is collected at checkout when you create your order. We do not accept checks, wire transfers, or purchase orders at this time.

Contact us at support@bidfastapp.com before your review begins. We can upgrade your order to a higher tier and collect the price difference. Once review has started, upgrades may not be possible depending on available time.

We do not currently offer standard volume pricing on published plans. If you submit bids frequently, contact us at support@bidfastapp.com to discuss options.

Once a Bid Readiness Report has been delivered to your dashboard, we do not issue refunds. If you believe we missed a clearly stated compliance requirement that was present in the documents you uploaded, contact us at support@bidfastapp.com and we will review the issue at no additional charge. See our Terms of Service for the complete policy.

After You Receive Your Report

Start with the Executive Summary, which gives you the overall readiness rating and a list of critical and high-risk issues. Move to the Required Actions section, which lists everything that needs to be resolved before submission, with deadlines and owner assignments. Work through the action items in priority order: critical items first, then high-risk items, then medium-risk items. Forward insurance items to your broker and bonding items to your bonding agent.

Contact us at support@bidfastapp.com with your order number and a description of the specific finding you are questioning. Include the relevant page from the bid documents if possible. We will review it and respond within one business day.

No. Each report is specific to one bid package for one project solicitation. If documents are updated through an addendum, or if you are submitting on a different project, a new review is required.

We flag it clearly in the report and explain the risk. Some issues, such as a missing bid bond, may require a call to your bonding agent. Others, such as an insurance gap, require a call to your broker. For issues that cannot be resolved in time, the report gives you the information to make an informed decision about whether to proceed with the submission or request an extension, if the agency permits extensions.

The Full Bid Readiness Review and Rush Review include one follow-up question by email after delivery. Send your question to support@bidfastapp.com with your order number and we will respond within one business day. The Basic Bid Scan does not include a follow-up question, but you are welcome to contact us and we will do our best to respond.

What We Do Not Do

No. We do not provide pricing, estimating, quantity takeoffs, labor rates, material costs, or bid strategy. Our review is limited to compliance: whether the bid package appears complete and whether you have the required forms, bonds, insurance, and documentation in order to submit a responsive bid.

No. We identify bonding requirements and flag whether your documents appear to include the required bid security. We do not place bonds, source sureties, or advise on bonding agent selection. Contact your bonding agent or surety directly.

No. We identify prevailing wage requirements and flag whether certified payroll appears to be required under the project documents. We do not prepare, file, or certify payroll records. For prevailing wage compliance and certified payroll services, contact a payroll compliance provider or labor compliance consultant.

No. We do not negotiate contract terms, advise on contract modifications, or interact with the awarding agency on your behalf. For contract negotiations, consult a licensed attorney experienced in public construction contracts.

No. BidFastApp.com is specifically designed for public works projects issued by government owners: municipalities, school districts, housing authorities, state agencies, and similar entities. We do not review private residential or commercial projects.

No. We review documents and flag compliance issues. Acting on those findings, and the ultimate responsiveness of your bid, is determined by the awarding agency. Our Compliance Guarantee covers the accuracy of our review, not the outcome of the bid.
